Marvelous said that they'd reveal a game from a charismatic game creator at this year's TGS; they've revealed the creator to be Suda 51, and the game to be a sequel to No More Heroes, the best Wii game ever.

More beautiful Rune Factory Frontier screens have surfaced, and we're still pining over this lovely-looking game. Between the farming, monster slaying and collecting, flying whales, and glowing creatures, we're pretty much in awe of this RPG-meets-farming-sim hybrid.

As part of tomorrow's WiiWare update, publisher G-mode is releasing a puzzle game called Oekaki Logic. It's basically a nice-looking, colorful picross game for 500 Wii Points, which sounds like a winner to us. Should you exhaust the puzzle selection found in the base game, G-mode will be offering monthly content packs, from June through October, for 300 points. Normally we get all huffy about DLC, but adding new puzzles like that seems like a good idea, and 300 points is a pretty minor charge for the convenience.

Should you happen to be as excited about Sky Crawlers as we are, you might be interested in this trailer -- even if it's just a total tease. We can't tell much about the game from this video, but it sure does look nice. We like the oldschool planes, too, as opposed to modern jets, but maybe that's just us. Here's hoping that more info on Sky Crawlers gets released soon!

Thanko, manufacturer of the DS battery pack wrist band, has created a TV stand specially designed for Wii users, though it would also be of use to DDR enthusiasts or, we suppose, treadmill owners. Thanko's Dendou Shoukoushiki Oogata TV Stand (Electric Rising and Lowering Large TV Stand) has a remote-controlled lift function that can raise your TV to eye level when you stand up to play Wii.

Namco Bandai has released new screens of the events in Athletic World: Family Trainer, including a couple of new games that weren't covered in the last roundup. "Kenken Step" involves dodging stone idols that move toward the player (we think), and "See-saw Fight" is actually a kind of Twister/Simon/DDR thing in which players hit a specific spot on the Family Trainer mat in response to onscreen cues, with see-saw level representing performance.

Sega just served up more footage of Sega Superstars Tennis, and all the ingredients are in place for one of the most quintessentially Sega experiences in years: cartoon monkeys called Amigo, blue skies, Ulala, and Sonic's horrible voice.

Even at a glance, designing an open world for a video game doesn't seem like a day's worth of chores. According to developer Locomotive Games of Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed for the Nintendo Wii, there were definitely lots of challenges in creating the game. Fortunately, we're allowed to find out how they pulled it off.

Remember that literally bloody series on the PC where you get to run around an open-ended city to kill everyone in the most sadistic ways? It's making another appearance, this time both on its original platform and the Microsoft Xbox 360 in third-person for more visceral action.
