9. Voice Acting (or lack thereof) Everyone knows those few, sad little sound files. Mario jumps and he w00ts. Mario double jumps and he “wah”s. Mario triple jumps and it sounds like he just won the Kentucky lottery. Other than that you won’t get too much out of everyone’s favorite obese Italian...

According to the Nintendo Jobs Page, the company is after people in the Redmond, WA area who have experience developing software for USB devices. I copied and pasted, below. However, when I tried to find this post later on, it seemed to have vanished.

With all the wiimote mods coming out nowadays, it was only a matter of time before somebody produced a replica of terrorists’ gun of choice. The AK-47 is probably the most famous weapon the Soviets ever produced. Somewhere along the line they became an icon of terrorists. Now all of you Wii owners out there can play Jihad!

Despite being a major Nintendo franchise, Kirby’s Star Stacker has never seen a huge amount of attention anywhere I’ve looked. This would be understandable if it were a mediocre title (Tilt N’ Tumble, nice try), but the gameplay of KSS alone should have made it a hit, with or without the Kirby template. Check out this great feature on KSS!

Instead of clinging to the faulty belief that only Sony and Microsoft matter in the software space, developers need to start focusing more on the Wii and develop games that are not only innovative, but more in the vein of those titles they're creating for the competing consoles. And in the end, I think we'll all win.

I've always heard a lot of good things about Animal Crossing, but I never owned a Gamecube. When it was released on the DS it received such positive reviews that I decided to give it a shot. I was not prepared for the ***** that goes on in this children's game.

Yesterday, we broke the news that Nintendo and 54 software companies were filing an injection to halt the importation, sales and marketing of R4-type carts in Japan. How has this legal suit affected R4 sales in places like Tokyo's Akihabra?

Anyone that's even overweight can actually be fit, although the more overweight you are the less likely you are to be fit. But with children they have more fatty tissue at different periods of their life and they have a larger body surface area relative to adults.

Nintendo just released their financial results for Q1 2009, and as part of that have revealed not only how much hardware they've shifted between April and June 2008, but how much they've managed to shift over each of their console's lifespans. And while the Wii continues to go from strength to strength, the DS is showing a (small) sales downturn.
