Gamers in most regions may be suffering from Wii shortages, but in China, the waggly console can be seen in almost every store, at least in Beijing. Someone apparently checked out one of the stores in the city out of curiosity, and was surprised to find out that the store was selling a console for about US$ 300. According to the store clerk, they always have the Wii in stock. As it turns out, another store nearby also sold Wii consoles, and both of the shops' Wii consoles are already modified, which means that they can play games of any region, and possibly even pirated games. If you don't want to go through the hassle of getting a Wii rain check from GameStop, you can always wait until Nintendo manages to fix their shortage problem...or visit China to get yourself a Wii without having to line up in long queues.
